Question about The Triology and Xtreme Beginners

Postby AceofHearts » Jun 20th, '07, 21:50

I'm Ace and i have a quick question. I have been performing magic since 10 and I'm going on my 6th year here soon. I really want to get into xcm(extreme card manipulation) but i don't really know where to start. There are two videos that caught my eye; The Trilogy by Dan and Dave Buck(which is brand spanking new) and Xtreme Beginners by De'vo. I would really like someones input on a subject unfamiliar to me.
Thanks

The Trilogy - http://www.dananddave.com/store/trilogy/index.html

The box at the bottom of the page with tabs at the top goes quite deeply into what is contained in The Trilogy. That may be some help for you.

Extreme card manipulation. Have a look here.

If you want another thing to read about xcm, try here. People recommending other DVD's for learning XCM.

Hope that helps!

I would start off with Xtreme Beginnerz seeing as you say you havent done XCM before. Its an excellent DVD to pick up to start you off on XCM, before you go onto the more difficult DVD's such as 'The System' and 'Cradle to the Grave'.

The Trilogy i believe is not only XCM but many card effects as well. I ordered it today so expect a review soon.

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

I appreciate your guy's input. It's nice that The trilogy has many other tricks besides xcm, I will probably end up buying both. Let me know how The trilogy turns out to be.
Thanks

If you want to buy the Trilogy it is only $63.75 at Penguin, rather than the $85 +postage! at Ellusionist.
