Do you use your real name while preforming or do you us an alias or do you use a title like "So-and-So the Amazing/magnificent/miraculous/astounding/" or just a one word name like "Cardini" "Houdini" "Cyril"?
if you could please explain why you decided what you did
Simply because a lot of people in school kept calling my effects "mad" and I don't like being called Mikey by people I don't know, and I only like being called Michael by my mum
I have a nick name i got called in High school - Kemo, because i shaved my head people thought i was goin through chemotherapy... i keep thinking of using it as my stage name but i don't think it really works well... any views on that would be appreicated

"An amazing mind manipulator" - Uri Geller "I hope to shake your hand before I die" - Derren Brown "That was mightily impressive - I have absolutely no clue how you did that" - Tim Minchin
I've been dubbed Jim the Magical Pirate, due to the fact that I wore a Pirate outfit on my last day in Comprehensive School/High School, and it sort of stuck as my thing, the Magical Pirate. Although I've never done any stage or restuarant performances, this is just what my friends call me.
"Rob Laughter." My performing persona is sophisticated and professional, so I use my real name, just like every business person should. No need for hype from me!
RobLaughter wrote:"Rob Laughter." P.S. And that's "law-ter," not "laf-ter."
This, is just an out riight LIE!
I'm always just Lawrence Turner
although there's a few people who know me as "that magic dude" (and varients on that like "that guy who does magic") also "that ball guy" and some as "Gabrial Tobias"
edit: how tempting is to just put a post saying "there are some who call me.... Tim"?
