Lost your ego? Then why start posts like this?
You are so obsessed with yourself, it's astonishing.
The subject you like talking about most of all is not magic - it's yourself.
If you were some boy prodigy genius then people would have heard about you and you would have done something of note, but it seems a few compliments from family and school friends has gone to your head so much that if you ever were to have some kind of exposure or an actual proper review (not written by yourself) that was favourable then your head would explode and go into orbit.
No one likes a cocky, smug, magician who thinks they are superior to lay people and that's exactly how you come across. When a child does something (no matter how poor) then adults praise them to give them encouragement. (Look at the amount of cr*p daubings displayed on fridges there are in the world)
Please don't take this all literally. Your peers are trying to encourage you and you ego has taken over.
Wait till you go out and perform for people who are honest, a tough crowd.
You'll either learn a hell of a lot or give up magic for good.
