Dancing Wildly on the Moors

Postby Amanda Angeli » Jun 23rd, '07, 15:47

Hello Everyone,

Oh how I so hope to meet you all. Tonight, on the moors, where the Loup Garou gather for their yearly dance of freedom, sipping deep red wine while making trees vanish and moon flowers bloom, that is how I'd love to meet you all for what better meeting than a magicians gathering in a forbidden place practicing the outdoor illusions and escape artistry that so hold my heart.

I love magic and all she holds within and sharing it with fellow lovers of the art is what makes me dance in joy.

There is magic in the night for darkness offers the atmosphere of long ago and what greater place for a show with friends than the freedom of the wilds.

I realize this is kind of an unusual greeting but it is simply my way of saying hello. I'm so looking forward to meeting you all.

Love,

Amanda Angeli

hello have you read some of the posts in this forum.

our enchanted forest and etherial gardens are no longer open to the general public, though certain people can peruse the basement archives and visit the pond in the garden to see the wonderous mirror fish and fortune telling daphnia therin contained.
not many of us are practitioners of the venerable art you speek of, fewer still are able to intice the moon flowers to blosom or able to summon the children of the night to make there sweet music but don't let that put you off.

if the imagination is there then there is always the capacity to resurect fancifull and magical notions from the old forum archives to once again roam the halls that are talkmagic.

It's Wonderful to Meet You

[quote="magicdiscoman"]hello have you read some of the posts in this forum.

Hello Magicdiscoman,

It is so wonderful to meet you. Thank you for your wonderful advice. I love doing my magical act outdoors with nature, so that is what I was trying to express.

>our enchanted forest and etherial gardens are no longer open to the general public, though certain people can peruse the basement archives and visit the pond in the garden to see the wonderous mirror fish and >fortune telling daphnia therin contained.

Oh my gosh, that sounds so beautiful and exciting.

>not many of us are practitioners of the venerable art you speek of, fewer still are able to intice the moon flowers to blosom or able to summon the children of the night to make there sweet music but don't let >that put you off.

Wow you are gifted. The tricks of what I spoke are merely illusions, of course. I love such illusions as walking on water, levitating over bushes, making plants grow or transform, that sort of thing, along with escape arts in natural settings. I'm working on the coolest water escape. I'm so excited about it.

>if the imagination is there then there is always the capacity to resurect fancifull and magical notions from the old forum archives to once again >roam the halls that are talkmagic.

Oh yes, I know exactly what you mean. Thank you.

iv'e done a fair few navy/army days and some outdoor events, kids and adults alike always enjoy the outdoor settings, it makes even the humble change bag take on a more magical nature.

good luck with you escapes, I'm playing dungeon seige 2 wile monitoring the boards today so am totaly emersed in the magical realms.

if you could include a little more detail regarding your geographical location and i know its not polite to ask a lady but some idea of your aproximate age would help future advice given as we have established so far that your a competent performer.

A bit more

Hello Magicdiscoman,

Yes, doing even the simplest tricks outdoors makes them oh so much more fun and magical.

Now then, as for my location, I'm an American on the West Coast. I'm a surfer girl. As for my age, well, let's say that I'm out of college, beyond my Master's degree too, and yet young enough to still love surfing and slack lining (a form of mountaineering tightrope walking).

Escape Artistry

Hello Marvel,

Yes, I do so love escape artistry. I tend to prefer rope to handcuffs because it feels more natural to me. And yes, I have done much practice with trees. I also love water escapes. In fact I'm working on a wonderful stunt involving water and vines that I'm planning for Kauai. It's such fun and struggling is a truly beautiful workout.

Perhaps I can incorporate an escape with my aerial work. Now that would be amazing. I just got the idea when you mentioned trees. Thank you. How exciting. I'll begin work on it in the morning.

Love,

Amanda
