What card-magic book would you folks recommend to get after finishing with the Royal Road?

Sort of wrong section, probably better in the Miscellaneous. Anyways, Expert Card Technique is my recommendation. Or, if you can afford it, Card College.

As Lefteye said above, those books would be my choice.

Although you should bear in mind that those two books are mainly for sleights. So you may also want to have a look at some material directed more so at tricks as well. Art of Astonishment would be a good start.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

Card College light is good as well, but the best for VISUAL card magic is the Art Of Astonishment books by Paul Harris. None better than that, my personal all-time favourite books.

If you're wanting to head down the cards route, then Expert at the card table is a good book.
