hey guys i was thinking what is the best version of the DL when looking at the following points:

1) Is it easy to perform
2) Does it look natural
3) How easy it is to get caughts

Well guys looking forward to hear what u guys think.

?

The whole idea of a DL is to look natural, like you're turning only one card over.

Getting caught?

You need to practice a bit if you get caught doing a DL, it's a pretty basic move, and fundamental to real card magic, whichever method you use.

i dont use either of thouse for a DL, in squaring up the pack i just lift two cards and thumb slide across to push both tougether, didn't know there was more than one way to do it :?:

Excellent point. There are numerous ways to perform a DL, and the two in your Poll are only a slice. Most people develop their own way and method anyway, as it depends on your general style (straight/flamboyant/hard/fast).

This is less of a 'poll' and more of a general question, methinks.

Just learn several types then mix and match parts of them like-
-holding break from fan/ riffling to get the break
-lifting the cards as one and turning your hand over/ turning these two on an axis back onton the deck.
This way you learn a few and choose which one suits you naturally.
