PK RING WEARERS - DISTURBING PICTURES

Postby dat8962 » Jun 28th, '07, 19:07

Although a little gory, shows what a ring can do in the wrong circumstances

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Did this really happen with a PK Ring? I have one coming in the mail and I think I will Return To Sender now.

 It happened with a normal ring michael. The title was just for comedy value i think. You can see the ring in a little pot.

It wasn't a PK ring but it could happen as easily with a PK as a normal ring. Comedy wasn't the intention with such a serious set of photo's - just to get people thinking and I thought some may be interested in seeing these.

It's also worth pointing out that accidents such as these are supposedly more common that people think, although still rare in the whole scheme of things.

There's actually LESS chance this happening with a PK ring.
They're very brittle and break easily, remember?

so were asuming he got his ring caught in a machine or door and it pulled the top skin layer off then.
wedding rings cause around 30% of houshold caccidents in the uk each year.

more warning would have been apreciated though, not for me iv'e been a carrer about the same time as iv'e been a magician so have seen a fair few horrific injuries but there are young kids who browse this forum.

It takes one hell of a lot to make me cringe...But good God - I actually cringed.

I hate to say it, but those pics really should be removed. Not because of me, but as magicdiscoman points out, there are kids on the forum.

Mike.
