Postby TheAlkhemist07 » Jun 30th, '07, 19:02

Just got ma G2 in and it is the S**! but.....
The only trick I know for it is Prohibition and Im out of beer bottles

Does anyone have some "open source" effects for the Pk rings
So I can get used to performing it and build up my skill and such.
Plz help!

Sure, there are thousands of completely free tricks including all the necessary workings and suggested patter etc at usealittleimagination.com Do enjoy your ring and sorry to be blunt but its uses are fairly obvious and nobody here is going to give you details which you can purchase. If you really can't think of anything yourself you should really consider whether magic is for you and then drift over to YouTube.

Magic is not "open source" as you put it.

"Magic is not "open source" as you put it."

There are actually some "open source" card booklets floating around
I just wondered if there was the same for the Pk ring

Before we all shoot off at the usual tangent, perhaps you could define what you understand as 'open source'?

...If we're talking the same definiton as 'open source' software, then Magic is on an entirely different level.

The reason I asked is that 'open source' isn't exactly clear. It could mean free, it could mean widely available, it could mean a lot of things. Before 'responding' as anticiapted I figured we ought to know the way it's being used in this instance  .

What I meant by "open source" is that they are free and can be edited by the user.
I have an e-book on card tricks like this from pub-tricks.com

OK, sadly that's what I assumed you meant. Free stuff is rarely free, most of it is copied/knocked off and thus deprives the originator of their deserved income. For that reason TM doesn't support any involvement or assistance with such items.

If someone wants to distribute their own original work at no charge then that would be a different matter.

Oh dear, we don't want to upset the locals now do we! Best edit this before I generate a complaint ;)
