In the Hands Triumph that preserves the stack

Postby shanester » Jul 3rd, '07, 21:40

Hello all,
I have the Mnemonica stack cold and am looking for as many non stack disturbing effects as possible.
I just bought Power Plays and there is a fine ITH triumph but the deck gets a full Faro plus a bit extra. It can be restored but not without a bit of work (and I'm trying to keep the fussing and therefore suspicion down to a minimum)

Does anyone know an In The Hands Triumph with minimal stack disturbance (does anyone know if Last Man Standing from DMF does this?)

Cheers

Last Man Standing could be adapted to suit your purposes I'm sure, but it's not intended to do such.

Off the top of my head, Oz Pearlman's Emerge Triumphant (available as an instant download on Penguin Magic - also on one of his dvd's) can serve your purposes.

Very - it's an excellent effect, in my opinion. I'm a fan of Oz's work. This one borrows from a number of ideas, all of which form a powerful routine.

One thing that should be mentioned is that you won't be able to perform the "kicker" at the end - simply because your deck won't be in the same order that Oz's finish is in. However, the Triumph effect is still nicely done and the handling is exactly what you're looking for.

With your stack doing Emerge Triumphant will be turned into "just another" Triumph effect since as Demitri mentioned the kicker ending (the strongest part of the effect) won't work. But if you don't mind that then go for it.
