What's on your wish list?

Postby Replicant » Jul 6th, '07, 13:44

Do you keep a wish list? If so, what is on it at the moment? It seems like every time I log in to these forums, it costs me money! Reading some of these reviews just makes my list longer and I know I'm not the only one. Oh well, I don't drink or smoke so magic is my addiction. :D

This is my wish list (subject to change next time I read a review!):

- Astor Mental
- Blindsight
- Diceman
- Entourage
- The Hidden
- Kioku and Sanctum
- Rainbow Cascade
- Shinkansen
- Strange Travellers
- Thought Transmitter
- Get Nyman DVDs (Andy Nyman)
- Lessons in Magic DVDs (Juan Tamariz)
- The Trilogy DVDs (Dan and Dave)

I know some of these items are by no means new; indeed, some were released years ago. But I do tend to avoid new-ish effects for a while until they have been tried and tested by others! I wasted too much money in the past to dive straight in and go mad with CUPS. (Although I still suffer from it to some degree!) What the hell, it's only money.

My wish list

three shows each week at convient times.

Just did a load of shows for a big christian gig this week (took the week off) and my magic just went up two or three notches (according to ever critical wife) :D
Problem is I get six shows then nothing etc etc and due to me working shifts in my proper job the prep for some is rushed......or I'm tired. :?

Perhaps my wish list should be

different job :D

Mikey, unless you really want a foray into the world of cups and balls, I'd go for "Jiggernaut" by Mark Jenest. It's simple, inexpensive, relevant, entertaining, packs very small - the only C&Bs routine I ever really use.

I really, really want a Miller Miracle Wallet. Nothing else at the moment, I've got loads of magic I need to learn properly, but this one item eludes my budget and it's driving me insane...!
