Have had to postpone my hols for a couple of days. I'm now flying on Sunday so can (hopefully) make the meet tomorrow. Just depends on how hectic it is tomorrow morning. If I can make it I'll bring my 18 yr old son along (if I can kick him out of bed early enough!), he's a keen mage too and a lot better at it than I am!

Dissapointing to see how few people turned up. Or maybe we just missed you when we evacuated the Wetherspoons at the station due to some kind of bomb scare - twice.

So just Lawrence, Tenko and Me. After evacuation, we gave up waiting to get back into the station, we went up to the other Wetherspoons, as Tenko seemed to have an abundance of vouchers for drinks and meals within.

We then moved back to the Wetherspoons in the station, where we met a rather nice drunk scotsman, who kept comparing the three of us to Tommy Cooper and his grandson. He also kept commading us to "show us another one". We obliged, and promptly buggered off.

We then progressed to another pub in the middle of Leeds, which we presumed was a favourite of Tenko's, the name escapes me -

We then wandered back towards the station. It lasted alot longer than I described it, but I cant remember all the details of all conversations.

I think it is fair to say that it was a lovely day aided by the weather, and enjoyed by all.

All the best,

Please remember that it was Lawrence that took us into that pub, not I. Also, when we sat down at a table in a secluded part of the pub to discuss magic, and then we all noticed the Gay Boy mags all over the tables, it was Lawrence who decided to get out his chain and padlock to show you the Siberian Chain/Train release which encouraged all those nice boys to come over and cheer

And don't forget, it was you who cried because I wouldn't go to the toilet with you to protect you, no hang on, I think it Was Lawrence who cried because none of the nice boys who he had showed his balls to (juggling) would go to the toilet with him

Still, a lesson learnt :? You can go in some pubs in Leeds and do the Siberian Chain release and before you've got the chain off, some buggers got your pants down  Lawrence, I have to ask this, why did you do 3 encores ?? 8)

Gah... really wish I had made it and sincere apologies for not being able to. Things went manic 'Chez Pudding' around mid morning and as we're setting off on hols early tomorrow I simply couldn't afford to lose the time. Sounds like you had fun & I hope there's a next time, hopefully when my circumstances are less frantic!

Please don't get upset fellers at not making it. We had a great time standing outside on the concourse because of all the bomb scares, at least it wasn't raining 8) And Lawrence did sneak back in occasionally and steal bacon sarnies off peoples plates to keep us going 8)

Other than the strange pub, I have no complaints. I went to the loo, on my own, cos I'm brave !! You know when you've finished and you shake it to make sure to don't dribble down your leg, well I did that, then I realised my hands were in my pockets, really strange pub !! :?

Now please don't tell him but, can anyone tell me why jugglers get their balls out BEFORE they go to the toilet, and the big yellow one that comes out of his ear is a little bit like ectoplasm :? Quite worrying when it pops up out of his ear when you're in the loo. Hell, it scared the living daylights out of me when it popped up from that other place, mind you, that's another story, or another jugling ball, however you see it
