In the entirety of this year - '07 - (and excluding expendables, such as cards, mouth coils, hat tears and so forth) I have purchased:

  • Modern Coin Magic (for use in the Bobo thread, explanation found there)
  • Two copies of Secrets of Alkazar (for my students)
  • One copy of RRTCM (again, for a student of mine)
  • Expert Card Technique (again, for a student of mine)
  • The Miser's Cup (a gift for myself this time)
Hmmm...Can't think of anything else that I've purchased in the last 6 months.

Mike.

Value is in the hands of the holder. I wouldn't give you more than $2.00 for the deck, so to me, they just ain't all that valuable.

My most recent purchase is the Books of Wonder Volumes 1 and 2, by the late great Mr Tommy Wonder. A work that will provide advice and guidance and most importantly thinking in me or whoever reads such a book.

I think the following makes up the bulk of what I have ordered this year:

Andruzzi's Daemon's Diary,
Jim Callahan's Tea With Alice & Jack,
A couple of George Anderson's manuscripts,
The Table-Rappers by Ronald Pearsall,
Frederick Altgelt's Mind Magic,
and a subscription to the ORACLE magazine.

The only other items I have bought 'recently' have been essentials, such as decks of cards, envelopes and the like; things I have purchased purely out of necessity.

Harry.

The last thing I bought was Double Back. Not a new effect by any means but I like it very much. One of the few packet tricks I own that I actually perform on a fairly regularly basis.
