The Pathway Levitation

Postby Michael Kras » Jul 11th, '07, 17:36

A New levitation concept coming on the market soon.. Gimmicks are being sold for $150. Here is the unbelieveable (and not in a good way) demo:

I think this is laughable.
What are your thoughts on this?

A truly dreadful video. Far too many cutaways for captions and totally pointless unless the whole body can be seen, not just the feet and ankles. Anyone can do this with a bar or a rope over head out of camera shot. And what were the cards on the floor for anyway :? ?

well if that is actually real and practical, I'll eat my hat...

plus, after reading the site owner's description of it, the main thing that comes across is "this is the best it is expensive but it is the best. dont let the price put you off, it is expensive..."

yada yada yada

though, if it is actually that good, I'll buy it...

let's wait for the reviews...we do not want another X Levitation on our hands...

Love

Looks like a kid put it together... heck it looks like the "levitator was a kid.

I think if this was so great... they would have put up a full body video first... theres no reason to show just the feet enless your hiding something. IF your going to show the feet off the ground... it should be done in one continuous shot, with a before scene of the whole body.

Also if its so top notch wouldnt it be sold at more than just their small shop.

A New revolutionary levitation concept coming on the market soon.. Gimmicks are being sold for $150. Here is the unbelieveable demo:

Are you serious? I thought it looked like a p**s take. The only thing that was unbelievable about it, was that anyone could possibly take it seriously. Though I may be wrong.
Mike, I presume that by stating that it is a revolutionary levitation concept, that you know how its done. In that case, what would it look like in real situation, where you can see the whole person?

I want to put faith in this effect very badly, but I know I'll just be getting my hopes up. Apparently, the video only showed the feet because they wanted to get their point across that nothing touches the ground, and they'll make a full-body video later.

It almost seems too good to be true, and I have a strong feeling it is.

Exactly my thoughts. For this price, they had better supply Quality Metal Hanging Bars with this... Ridiculous.

PLUS, these kids keep promising a full-body video, but at the same time refuse to film one for us... Something fishy there for sure.

Unless they provide a full-body video, they are going to be beaten to a pulp here in magic land. Now we play the Waiting Game.. hopefully for something worthwhile.

If they can make a feet and ankles vid now, they can also make a full body one now. All they have to do is stand back about 8 feet or so - it ain't rocket science  !

I hope I'm wrong but this is probably going to be one of those theads where several pages are used discussing nothing at all as that's all we'll see of this 'Revolutionary Levitation Concept'. To be honest, do we really need another one anyway?

Mike, What happened during the last 25 minutes that turned the effect from revolutionary and unbelievable, to something fishy?

Unbelieveable (NOT in a good way) and supposedly revolutionary due to marketing hype.. This levitation looks like something BAD.

LOL....

But if by some VERY unlikely chance we are wrong and this levitation is the real deal, I would buy it. But right now, All I can go is go to the Monkey Bars at the playground and practice this.
