For children's films, Harry Potter is okay, but that's what they are, kiddies films.

Anyone over 12 who get exited about such things should be ashamed of themselves.

Still, they've rekindled kids interest in magic, which is good for many of us I suppose.

I saw it on the first day it was released here, yesterday. It was MADNESS. Honestly, I think they should hire walkaround magicians to entertain the hundreds of people waiting for hours in line. Somehow I got GREAT seats.

GREAT movie, by the way. The best of the series so far.

UK film critics have said the first section is slow moving but the last third of the film is up to the usual good standards. I'll wait until it's on Sky Movies at Christmas  !

I thought that the last one wasn't too bad as films go. I'd agree about adults reading thee books though; I bought one for my sister a couple of years ago and read a chapter of it on the train. I wasn't impressed at all; definitely aimed at the kids, and not even particularly intelligent kids either.

I wouldn't recommend taking a young child to this film... It is scary, even started me a few times. Also, you're looking at the guy who stood naked the whole time and had sex on stage in the play Equus recently.

I think you're confusing "Had sex on stage" with "Stood naked on stage for a couple of minutes" ;)

Well, I saw it at 1.30pm today.

It was a good watch. Not quite as epic as it appears in the adverts. I think it's more of a stepping stone to the next one.

A few months ago there was a poll that revealed something like 90% of Harry Potter books end up unfinished. Says a lot.

This sums up the whole sham for me..
