All the way from Holland; meet Kubus :wink:

Im a 21 year old Eager Newbie(EN) from Holland. I dont know any tricks yet. Every time i see magic on tv or on the www, i want to learn how to do it. Thats why I have become a member.
And now i have the time for it, i want to study so much that i can. My purpose? I want to shock friends with some magic tricks. So i just want to have some fun with people on the street. I think streetmagic is where im interesting in, but this can change when im gonna read the forum. Its not my plan to perform for an audiance.

Hope to learn from you all.

Are there any Dutch people on this forum?

Hi and welcome! TalkMagic isn't a teaching forum as such but you'll find a lot of advice about which books, DVDs and so on are worth getting plus the Review Sections will let you see what others think of the latest and greatest releases. We certainly have one or two other members from the Netherlands and I'm sure they'll make themselves known sometime soon.

If you have any questions that you can't ask in english.. like questions only dutch ppl can ask.. don't hesitate to ask;)

Good luck on your start with magic!
Sometimes you practice for ages and don't seem to get the move down..
good news: keep trying and it'll work lol

now thats some real dutch advice..
and we dutch people know! cause God made the world..
but the dutch made Holland 8)

Are you guys still making Holland larger by reclaiming land from the sea - dikes, polders, stuff like that?

actually the dutch army is working over-time :P
the sea is catching up on us.. and taking away land all the time..
I think the last time we "created" new land was a couple of decads ago.. the province "Flevoland"
