OH yes, who could forget them??? Lee's awesome, and so is Aaron and all the others. Chard Juros? He's awesome too, and has a very touching life story. Do you consider him a celebrity?

We also have Tyler Wilson, Greg Frewin, Jason Dean, Sean Fields, Murray Hatfield, Michael Weber, and many more up at camp. It is great! One of the best parts about Camp is our Workshops, where we present a routinbe and a critiqued by the pros. Nothing better :)

Im not. But I think magic camp isnt to practice, its to talk to more professional magicians than yourself, and to talk to fellow magicians and share ideas

We just go there to jam with people like Lee Asher, Aaron Fisher, Tyler Wilson, Wayne Houchin, Nate Kranzo, etc etc. And we take classes too... AND we have parties and a 2 hour professinal show every night at the theare on the camp site... the camp is top notch too.

It is the best time I have as a magician, honestly.

A magic camp is like a magic convention. Sure it's OK to practice at home, alone, but at a camp or convention you're with 100+ other people like you - magic lovers. Not to mention some of the people that attend, Aaron Fisher being there is the only thing I need to about the camp to want to go there.

If you like conventions, try a magic camp (if you can find one as they are a bit "tricky", pun intended, to find); if you enjoy magic camps, look for some local conventions. If you've never been to a convention or camp; GO! And if you've been to both, continue doing so!

As for Chad Juros, I don't like to classify people as celebrities or not; they are normal people. I am friends with "celebrities", but would I ever call them a celeb? No.

I hope to meet some of you at Sorcerer's!

Actually you can learn from other magicians but they all love magic. What you really learn from is Joe public who are indifferent to magic.

The Hecklers
The people who see you mess up
The people who may pay you one day

Being a Magicians magician is all well and good but I feel you can learn a lot from the public. Spend a week performing rather then sitting in the woods thats what I say.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

But doing both is better.

Spend a week doing nothing but magic with the magician's magicians and then go out and perform something new and refreshing for old audiences of yours.

Hey I just thought I'd post this in this thread as opposed to starting another entirely different camp thread, but I'm going to another camp this year (magic this time), Tannen's Magic Camp. It should be fun, but if anyone knows anything about it... I'd be grateful. Thanks.
