Children's magic set

Can anyone recommend a child's magic set? It's for an 11 year old boy. Nothing too cheap and tackey and something reasonable mature preferred so real cards etc and plastic kept to a minimum.

Check out some of these. A couple of them I wouldn't mind buying for myself!

I'm not sure where you are, but I've heard good comments about The Magic Warehouse shipping to the UK. Also, if you check with your favorite online shops, using the brand names, you could probably hunt them down for sale with a bit of work.

Also, if you are interested in the perfect book for a young man of 11, you might want to check out "The Secrets of Alkazar," (Kronzek) which is written for the 8 - 12 crowd and is an excellent book. jbauerctu is preparing to do a formal review of the book, but you can see what the members who've recently bought it have to say here.

I hope this has been of some help to you.

Mike.
