Anyone remember this show? Well, it's back under the title of Room 401. It just started tonight on MTV.

For those who saw it, any thoughts?

It's T.H.E.M. only under a different name and they don't tell the "victims" that it's setup. All it shows is them freaking out and running away.

But it's produced by the same people and has the same magicians as T.H.E.M. I'm really glad to see this because I devestated when I heard T.H.E.M. was cancelled.

I think he was looking for an explanation of what T.H.E.M. was. It stood for Totally Hidden Extreme Magic, a show that originally aired on NBC in the US.

It was basically a hidden camera style show with magicians. They would come up to unsuspecting "victims" and perform some extreme style magic (Flies from the mouth during a blind date is one, Cyril's "head off shoulders" effect, while posing as a news reporter is another).

Were the magicians big-names? or did it give lesser-known magicians a chance to get a break?

Well, Cyril was in it. That's about it though.

I saw some decent episodes. the guy possessed in the lift was funny.

I think it would have been better if they never told their victims though..

Then watch Room 401. They never say anything to them.
