It's Probably Nothing But...

Postby themagicwand » Jul 16th, '07, 15:52

I've just ordered a brand new hard cover edition of 13 Steps using the Wizmomagic advert found on this site. Succesfully ordered (using PayPal), but then I thought I'd have a look around the rest of their site. It may be my browser or something, but none of their site was actually "working" (page not found etc) except for the 13 Steps page. I'm sure everything is kosher & above board, just it just made me wonder. Anyone have any good news about dealing with Wizmomagic?

Edit: The phone number found on the contact us page is also incomplete. Hmmm. And the promised free shipping did not happen.

I think Wizmo is run by student TM member 'Hade'.

Perhaps contact him direct.

Just had an email from them saying the book has been dispatched. If this turns out to be correct I am impressed with their service! :D

Logistically: 10 minutes from payment to despatch?

The guy either lives above a post office, or there's porkies being told ;)

We shall see. Have pm'd him, so will await a reply to that before passing judgement!

I was actually being a bit silly and joking about it...

I've made the mistake on my own webstore of marking an item as 'shipped' before the packing note was even printed!

It can cause confusion!

Hi guys, will address everything now!

I do my dispatches around 4PM, and your order came in just before so yes, it was dispatched within 10 mins! Postage is almost always within 24 hours :)

I was developing my main website page, which also serves the categories list, so it was temporarily down, for which I apologise.

Free postage is for second class orders only, which you must select during checkout.

I am now working full time on Wizmo Magic, I now have completed my degree in business & IT.

I hope you are happy with your purchase and I apologise for the 404 error message. It won't happen again!

Hayden

I ordered my copy of 13 steps from wizmo via ebay about 2 weeks ago £16.99 and few days later it arrived.

I don't hesitate in recommending Wizmo.

Reasons to trust Mr Wizmo are clear:

1. He's a TM advertiser & board member
2. He's a regular poster here
3. He's a man of his word
4. He has a track record

Nuff said!
