South East London Meetings?

Postby Partypaul2007 » Jul 15th, '07, 23:12

Hello,

This may be out of place in this forum, but I was wondering if there are any magic societies/groups/clubs in South East London?

I've just seen Harry Potter and really want to learn more about magic*

Paul

*Only kidding, but I'm getting tired and frustrated offering myself advice in the mirror, apparently I have little patience with myself.

Yes it is true.

The meetings we have are incredibly friendly, many tips and ideas are thrown about willy nilly and best of all a round comes to less than a tenner!
I hate to say it but apart from me their all a right friendly bunch too. It's a top laugh.

Greedo is ok really when he aint sitting there going “in my day there was no XCM” And all magical tastes are catered for what ever your fancy you got it! There is even balloon swallowing provided by magic monkey. Expert coin magic by bronzy. Good old fashioned card magic by Mr Greedo and mentalism and hypnotism by me and if you ask really nicely I may even do a split fan or two.

Its got it all magic, lesbians and beer. Come one come all for it’s a great day out. Watch beard drink vodka and orange. Watch me throw a card. Marvell as Magic monkey shows you what is in his hat. Find out why bronz is called so and why is Greedo so grumpy

Yes folks it’s a magical extravaganza come meet some of the stars of your favourite magic forum.

Plus I've grown a rather nice beard! now if that ain't a selling point I dont know what is?
Actually isnt it traditional for magicians to grow a beard on a third meet up scenario?

Please come please please.

Actually its a bit like a magicians club but one with drunk magicians and stuff. OO a beard cant wait to see that.

Come be merry and learn something new. Its a good old time for one and all.

Please note we have 2 rules :

1. no Vodka and orange will be drunk in front of the other magicians. Yes that means you beard.

2. Hot shot cuts are only allowed with permission no exceptions.

I would love to come, but sadly, some really selfish friends of mine had a night of passion 5 years and nine months ago on that very day, so I have to traverse the country to celebrate the fact. On the bright side it'll give me chance to try out Blindsight on a crowd, but I'll miss this event.

When is the next one, without wishing to wish our lives away.

Usually a month after the last one usually. If you look on the big friendly get together thread on events a date will be announced next week probably

Beer!

Only a few days to go now although Bronz and monkey have fallen off the radar lately.
If it's just me and Markdini does that consititute a date? If so I'd better comb my beard and wear a suit
