So I'm sitting here practicing some coin routines when I realize how fast a lot of them are. To me this is not so much of a problem because although they may be short they are still pretty powerful. The only question in my head is how and when to use them.

I figure it would be good to use as a warm up on the specs to grab their attention, or as a trick to use when a friend asks to see a trick.

If anyone has any suggestions about when they feel it is best to use a quick trick feel free to post

A quicky with a strong finish is often a good opener as it gets to the point straight away and establishes you as competent and entertaining in the eyes of those you seek to entertain.

Then you are more likely to retain their attention as you move on to longer effects within your routine.
