I think this little effect on the clip from "jay sankey live" really does show what a fresh thinker he is.

I havnt bought this dvd yet but it is most definetly on my wish list. I've showed this effect to several friends and they loved it.

BEWARE!!! when you watch this clip you may want to turn the sound down for the first twenty seconds, if you don't you will have this little ditty in your head all day :D

Talking of novel paddle effects. Did anyone see the changing Ice lollies routine from Max Somerset the other week? I thought that that was fairly innotive.

Well as you know much of the show is styled as a mix between monkey magic and candid camera.

For this particular effect the magician was posing as an ice cream man, and he had a brown magnum style ice cream in one hand and a white one in the other hand. He'd show both sides so it would appear to be a brown in left hand and a white in right hand.

He'd ask if they wanted brown or white. If told white he would say you can't have white as they are both brown and then he would show they are both brown, then both white etc.

As I said a novel apporach to a classic idea.
