the trick goes as follows

A deck of cards is shuffled by a spectator (and the cards are shown to be shuffled), and the magician cuts the cards into 10 packs as follows

The first pack has 1 card, the second pack has 2 cards, the third pack has 3 cards, and so on.

After this, the magician shows that these cuts are so exact that on top of each pack are all the spades IN SEQUENTIAL ORDER from Ace to Ten, indicating the number of cards in each pack!

The magician then performs THREE exacting cuts, showing three packs

the first pack is shown to reveal all the diamonds IN SEQUENTIAL ORDER from Ace to King!

The second pack is shown to reveal all the clubs IN SEQUENTIAL ORDER from Ace to King, and the third pack reveals all the hearts IN SEQUENTIAL ORDER from Ace to King --
The entire deck now in order.

any help would be appreciated.

It's a gaff deck effect by Henry Evans...

I don't own it, but I know of it (a little birdie told me ;) )

It happens ALMOST as the description above states, so I'm sure it IS the same effect... and the name of it is Ten Exact Cuts.

I have this: it is a heavily gaffed deck. Nothing particularly new but combined in a newish way. Henry Evans won a major competitioin (FISM?) with it.
