Hello, magicians!

My name is Doug, and I've a hankering to become a magician. I've been at it for, gosh, about two weeks now. I'm a trainee clinical psychologist working in Edinburgh, and got into magic (partly) via the Derren Brown route. I'm particularly interested in exploring the interplay of psychology and magic, and am currently munching my way through Corinda's 13 steps.

I've also got Modern Coin Magic and The Royal Road to Card Magic on the go. Oh, and Paul Zenon's Street Magic. Y'know, for the pictures.

I've really enjoyed pottering round the forums, and look forward to contributing to them in the future!

Doug.

Enjoy your time here - I'm sure you will. Indeed, as a psychic I predict it shall be so. And verily it came to pass.

Hey! I really think you can do great things being a Psychology student in mentalism- it seems to me like you can really make an effect stick with your audience with that belt of skills.

Enjoy your time at TM

Sorry chaps and chapesses, someone has to ask this and it might as well be me.

a) What do you call a magician with a spade on his head? And b) what do you call one without a spade on his head? OK, I feel much better now thank you......
