may i suggest that the moderator delete all unused/unactive thread in the trading forum?

Plenty of items have been sold but the threads still remain there.

That's actually not such a bad idea. Perhaps we should have a monthly sweep up and polish of the trading area.

The trading area isn't somewhere I personally frequent, but I am sure it could be kept up-to-date.

I'll have a word with the cleaners and see if they can nip in to do a bit of clearing out .

It's abundantly clear that selective reading and editing out will take far longer than the time available. Instead we'll just remove all posts older than 3 months (approx!) and if the post if still valid, it will need to be reposted.
