Hi guys and gals,

I hope you are all well and that the current weather (if you're english) isn't getting you down.

Recently I got a couple of TTs from the lovely people at Magic Box. I've got really large hands and the bloddy thing extends almost to the tip of my forefingers. I showed it to a pal of mine who suggested I don't use it! The TT is a soft Tenyo variety.

So, is there a TT that will fit my huge t***bs? A downside to this is that I will not be able to get any D-Lites as I'm fairly certain they won't fit (boo-hoo!).

My t***b is about 3 inches long by 1 inch wide.

Yes mate stick to Vernet type and the Kingsize ones should do you good and proper.

Nums has to be the cheapest place Ive ever seen for TT's as well so you have your answer right there.

I have a similar problem. You might find that filling your sink with really hot water then dropping the tip in, leaving is soak for a min will make it a bit pliable, by forcing it onto your finger it may fit a little better. When it cools down completely it will retain it's new shape.

I have the totally opposite problem where I can't get one small enough, although with careful handling it's not really a problem

I, too, have a TT. The only problem with mine is that it is one of the hard plastic varieties, so it's not at all flexible. It came with a silk vanish effect, but it has other purposes. It's also not very wide, so I cannot get a quarter into the gimmick. I am going to try and find a bigger, more flexible rubber one when I have the cash. I paid $5 for my silk vanish with the TT included.

I find the hard TT's easier to ditch

A quick hand in your pocket motion for any creative reason you can come up with is good enough to let it slip off, whereas I would imagine that wouldn't work with a rubber one. I create a little extra distance between the tip and my t***b by wearing it past my k*****e, so that I can bend it without fighting with the TT. The only problem is it doesn't look as nature.

Scott Penrose has a motto: 'Never waste a trip to your pocket' and it's excellent advice. Ditch one thing but arrange your routine so you get another while you're in there. As for TTs (despite the peril of this ending up out of context in a certain 'other' thread!) I usually keep mine in that little ticket pocket as found in the right hand pocket of jeans. With the seam on that pocket, I find the hard ones much easier to ditch and steal than the softer ones which can close up and be difficult to locate without a lot of fiddling around.

So, then, are you guys saying I'd be better off sticking with my plastic TT instead of getting a rubber one? I'd appreciate any opinions as to which is better to have? I love my TT a lot, and I hope to soon perform a silk vanish for a few real specs. I have a desire to discover new uses for it, as well. On that note, aside from the plastic vs. rubber issue, can anyone note off any good books giving tricks with the TT?

100 tricks with a TT Although you're only limited by your imagination!

If I was you I'd stick with your plastic one, and the best advice I could offer you is have faith that your specs won't see it, unless you are blatant!

When I do a note vanish I keep mine on, show my hands, then pull the note from my mouth, before ditching it. Its amazing what you can get away with with a lay audience!

It's only a personal opinion but the hard plastic TTs seem to be the most versatile and useful. Also they're relatively cheap!
