Amen! What would we North Americans do without it?

Yeh, no offence, but America, in general, is just fat! Too many cars, too much food and they have Bush in charge!

Full English, yum yum, also, Poached Salmon with sweet and new potatos, peas and a baguette! OH BABY!

Fruitarian

Postby Amanda Angeli » Jul 27th, '07, 21:57

Hello Guys,

So, for me, it's pretty much fruit, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I'm not a strict fruitarian but I try to do my best. I make acceptions when I'm at someone's home or whatever.

As for tea, yes, definitely.

So, when I become an English lass, will I still be allowed to be a fruitarain or will the lads kick me out of the country unless I learn to eat rashers and taddies and whatever else it is you eat.

Go figure a surfer girl beach bunny would be a fruitarian!!!

Love,

Amanda Angeli

Yup, they're very versatile. I'll bet Amanda could even fill them with fruit if she wanted!

I can make several disappear before anybody notices, as the old saying goes: "The mouth is quicker than the eye"... or something like that.

A slice of crusty fresh baked bread (still warm as Seige recommends) with a dollop of real butter takes some beating

Porridge for breakfast, tuna or chicken sandwich for lunch, and a medium cooked fillet steak with sauted onions, peas and mash, washed down with a cold pint of Guinness all helps towards the making of a perfect day

Being a broke student (and I have to say, a self confessed member of C.U.P.S - long story...will explain in another post sometime soon) I cant really afford all this fancy food you guys go on about...here is my food list:

Breakfast - Weetabix / Shredded Wheat (With LOADS of sugar / Syrup - nice sugar rush for the day) with a glass of Orange Juice

Dinner - Pizza (more than likely microwaved whilst at work) with a bag of crisps and a bottle of squash (brought from home, think of the pennies to save :P)

Tea - Pasta or Noodles, maybe (if I have the spare cash) with chicken and veg (*stir fry style)

Supper / snakc before bed - Ice cream, toped with a flake and covered with Chocolate sauce

Fav Drink - water or squash (or anthing with Vodka / Rum in it if its a weekend or a student night :P)

I eat a lot of fruit, probably around 7-10 portions a day. Normally have a 3 egg omlette for breakfast. Tuna Melts or some kind of toasted sandwich for lunch. I make a big bowl of pasta with two tins of tuna mayo and sweetcorn pretty much everyday. Love italian food so tend to have lots of pasta or pizza or lasagne for dinner. Having your parents own a pub is really useful when it comes to dinner time. Had a 24oz steak last night for free! I do like the odd pint of Guiness.

Basically i have the equivalent of like 4 or 5 meals a day because im trying to put on weight, and need the extra calories because my height and high metabolism require it. Or thats my excuse anyway...

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

I'm trying to "eat healthily" at the moment (which is what they're calling a diet nowadays...!), Not majorly overweight, just would prefer to lose the tummy. Unfortunately, my recent holiday in France complete with a lot of steak, cheese and wine isn't doing anything for me!

When I get back to uni it'll be easier - veg is dirt cheap, so it'll be soups, stir-frys, curries etc. I absolutely love cooking.

Also, I love seafood but there ain't much good fresh seafood about in Leeds, not at student prices anyway! That said, frozen tuna steaks from iceland - yum.

You know what I love? A great home-made soup! Nothing comes close! Full of veg and meat of your choice, normally extremely healthy, and after two servings with crusty bread your stuffed!

Curry is my favourite food. Specifically, Indian curry but any curry will do me. People don't understand how I can eat leftover curry for breakfast but I do it all the time. In fact, whenever we get a takeaway, I always order extra knowing I will have some for breakfast the next morning. If it was up to me, I would be eating curry for every meal, every day until I got physically sick of it. Might take a while, mind.

And I think I'm too heavy for my height. I need to grow taller. :D
