As I said in my intro post i am a preformer overall and am currently trying to find a style that suits me. I have been practicing general slights and such, but the show i am hoping to have, will be a mixture of Mentalism, hypnotysm, gambling(IE card, and games of chance) and comedy. I have done some stand up in the past and fully enjoyed it. Any way im looking for good books in those fields. i already have the dvd adaptation of the royal road to card magic.

It sounds a strange mixture of material. I am not saying it wouldn't work with complete uncertainty but it doesn't sound as if it would. I could be mistaken though and I have been wrong before. If you prove me to be wrong again then I will be delighted and I wish you luck with it.

If you are wanting to mix comedy with mental magic etc, then the best resource I know of would be 'educating archer' by John Archer.
