Dunno if you've heard of my hero, Keith Floyd, he's a UK cook/chef who does many TV cookery shows from different parts of the world, he uses gallons of local liquor, is usually three parts intoxicated by the time the dish is finished and he's so much fun compared to the 'serious' TV cooks!

Any recipes etc are warmly welcomed (I can't believe I've said that - me, a bloke, asking for recipes – so very pink and fluffy  !!!)

Off to market today to get fresh fruit, veg, nice bit of fish etc
I am known as the bbq king, which is rather embarisingly lame.
I also taught my wife how to cook a proper english roast.
Used to be a gardener and used all the falls to make wine. I now have a rather mean rose pettel affair which is just right for summer(just the 4 gallons at the moment).
Also make our own bread.

As to why men like bbq's, it's simple. They contain the three main food groups in perfect balance. Meat, Carbohydrate and alcohol :D

I must be the only man around these here parts that wouldn't know how to start a BBQ if my life depended on it. If you're waiting for me to cook something on a BBQ, you'll starve to death first, I'm afraid. Even when someone else has got the BBQ going, I'm hopeless at cooking anything on it. I'm good at eating, though.
