Why I hate YouTube

Is this the worst tutorial/performance in the history of magic?

A young Tito Jackson, in his bedroom, completely ruining Dai Vernons (of sorts ) Triumph..

Oh. Dear. And his parting words? "I'm gonna make more videos, ok?"

No.

It is most definitely NOT ok.

"And what I'm gonna do now is mess up the deck."
"I'm gonna mess it up."
"I'm gonna mess up the deck."

2 hours later ...

"And now the deck is really, really messed up."

Wow, that kid should write all my patter. He's fantastic!

3.
You think THIS is bad, I just found this on YouTube, and it turns out my magician friend posted it!

Grr... I am going to have a nice little chat with him soon.

[edited by mods. Let me ask you a question. if the youtube link was exposure, don't you think you posting a link to it is at best advertising exposure and at worse exposure itself? just a thought.

ps - my advice is you do not reply to this. Just think about it]

I turned it off after 11 seconds...his voice was enough to annoy me.

what I thought was classic was the amount of times he put the damn card in and out of the bloody deck!

So you put the card in. There it is, there. Then you take it out. you put it in, you can see it, in there. Take it out and put it right in there so you can see it..

Great misdirection. Bore your spec to sleep then do the trick!

I know I'm probably going to get a lot of flack over this but here goes and it is only my opinion. There are probably more magicians watching the magic on youtube then laymen. I don't know much about how youtube works but from what I understand everytime somebody watches a posting it is recorded, the more 'hits' the more the publisher of the vid is going to be encouraged. The odd Layman that does watch will soon forget it anyway because it simply won't hold the average persons attention. So if it really bugs you, stay away from watching magic or at least the video's that expose the magic.

This guy has the right idea.

Sadly, that's how a lot of internet "magicians" perform. I live for the day when I meet one in person and ask them to show me an effect.   I SHALL KILL THEM ALL!!!!!
