make a dog wear a dress then stick it on the impaled illusion
That, quite rightly, sounds gross but we probably wouldn't be quite so outraged to see a nubile young lady dressed and impaled in the same manner. Weird, innit :? ?

I'm all for the impaling of nubile young ladies.
Any takers?

I'd say that's going in the "innuendo bingo" thread. :D

My dog loves that one too. She always gets it right though!

LOL I have 2 English bull terriers and they tend to eat anything put in front of their face. I came home today to find the remnants of a nokia mobile phone even half a battery! So showing my dog an expensive trick is a NO NO! I had a certain something I use in stopping my pulse and the dog stole it and wont give it back, its all chewed up and slimey now so I dont want it back, he won.

I wish I could remember which lecture I was at when the topic came up, of doing magic for animals. He pointed out that cats follow the moving object so doing slights infront of cats can actually teach you a thing or two. I want to say it was Eugene Burger who said it but can't be sure I do remember him saying something about spiders. Every now and then I can fool my husky by switching out small toys but more often then not she just doesn't care.

Spiders? Are you talking about performing for spiders? They have eight eyes you know, so pretty hard to fool I think.

If I remember correctly he was talking about how he observed a spider and learned a lesson on patience. However if you choose to perform for a spider I'd imagine that your patter has to be perfect as I understand spiders really know how to spin a web.
