Few Questions.

Postby Roflsauce » Aug 2nd, '07, 01:12

Hey guys.. i got a few questions

What magic store is reliable?

I need to get a few things..

Black Tiger Deck
Loops by Yigal Mesika. (or preferebly a whole bunch, penguin is 5 loops for $8.75, my friend on msn said you can get 40 for $13)

BTW I don't feel like using ebay because although it may be the best alternative.. last time i bid on stuff.. i got outbidded on the last minute, and i hate when that happens because you gotta wait for 3 days in most cases for bidding to finish, then if your outbid, have fun waiting another 3 days. =(

Penguin is out of stock on Loops and Black Tiger Decks arent sold there.

Thanks guys, Any help is appreciated :D

Edit: (I CAN ONLY PAY BY PAYPAL, AND ELLUSIONIST UNFORTUNATELY DOES NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL) + Im looking to spend as little as possible

Thanks.

5 loops 15$... isnt there anything cheaper.. i only have $40 to spend.. that $40 is covering just the loops and a black tiger deck..

i need to get some other stuff too.. so far on my penguin cart i got

2 Red backed normal bicycle decks
a Bicycle Card Protector (the metal one)

(BTW IM CANADIAN, SO FAR IM GOING WITH MORRISSEY MAGIC ALTHOUGH ITS OVERPRICED, ITS RELIABLE AND CANADIAN SO LESS CHARGE ON SHIPPING.. PENGUIN IS COSTING $12 AND $6-8 FOR SHIPPING ITS LIKE $19-21 FOR JUST THOSE 3 :(

if you only have limited money then forget the Tigers and the card protectors.

Stick with the normal bokes and if anything, get a couple more of those decks. Wherever you buy loops from they aren't cheap and be prepared for them to break until you start to get the hang of using them. Generally, wherever you buy these from they will not very in price that much.

Seige (http://www.nothingupmysleeve.co.uk) sells thread, and also an ebook called S.T.El.Th Loops in which he will teach you how to make your own loops quickly and easily.

Check out the site for more information on it, the advantage of going this way is you get hundreds of loops, and of course you can always make more as you need them.

I'd agree with dat and say forget the black tigers and card protector, if you're new to this you should be practicing loads and will be wrecking a lot of cards. I'd spend the money on nothing but cards, preferably bikes. I buy bicycle seconds from Magic Box, as they are a pound a deck and so far I have yet to find a pack that has anything wrong with it more than a slight smudge on the printing. Unfortunately they do not take paypal on there, so try and get a credit or debit card from mummy if you can.

Alternatively I have bought bikes off ebay before using buy it now, for a good price with fast delivery (next day in most cases). Find someone who specialises in cards with good feedback.

Like the others said, get some bikes.

If you're just starting out, vanity decks like the Black Tiger will only make you look like a fashion victim. When you wear them out, instead of reaching for another perfectly good deck of bikes, you'll have to shell out all that cash again.

as has been said above, I'd forget the fancy pants Black Tiger cards and just get a nice ordinary set of Bikes. If you're on a budget, they're so much better value for money

I am not buying Bikes off any website because paypal money to me is limited compared to Real Life Cash. i can get bikes at FG Bradleys. but yeah thanks for the advice i understand what your saying.

The Black Tiger is just for some effects/sleights i already know =)

Thanks Guys!
