What Do You Think Of This Idea?

Postby Michael Kras » Aug 4th, '07, 06:36

TIME FREEZE

A card is selected and signed. After the card is lost in the deck, the deck is thrown into the air. Cards are flying everywhere, and suddenly the magician points at a specific place in the mess of airbourne cards. The card he is pointing directly at is the signed selection! The magic beings when all of the cards fall back to the ground... EXCEPT for the signed card, which remains suspended 20 feet in the air! The magician lowers his arm, leaving the signed card to levitate as high as any card has ever gone.

What do you think? I have a great method for this, so does it sound like a good effect?

20 feet in the air?

20' is too high. half your specs wont be able to see the signature from that distance. consider the benefit of a signed card being that it is easy to identify as THE signed card. revealing it "later" as "the" signed card opens up the possibility of a switch.

Mike...

Stop teasing, and either post a video of the proof of concept, or shall we move on?
