Ebay and copyright

Postby cessna » Aug 4th, '07, 00:38

Just been looking on Ebay at some items and noticed someone who is selling a cd of over 350 pdf's of books and tricks.

These include material from the likes of Jay Sankey,Paul Harris,Dan and Dave Buck,Roberto Giobbi,Anneman etc..

He's basically downloaded it off the net put it on cd and is flogging it on Ebay for a tidy profit.

Surely this is illegal.
If so is it just a case of reporting it to ebay to stop it?

I would report that and any other copy dvd or cd that is found.

support the real creators, but the real stuff.

i found that ebay do very little sometimes. Try contacting the people in question. If Mike skutt comes back on TM tell him, he knows some of the people.

Unfortunately this kind of scum exists, you'll often get a similar problem with software piracy and people flogging expensive programs for 50 quid only to send a pirated copy on a CD-R.

It's hard to police but if you do see it do report it as it should be taken down.
