just thought id remind everyone that Jerry Sadowitz is playing at the festival again... definitely worth a trip!

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

I popped in to see Dougie C's 'Brief History of Magic' at Hillside Crescent last night, and thought it was brilliant. A lot of it was comprised of magic 'standards' (e.g. cups and balls, ropes, etc) but the presentation was very entertaining.

I'd certainly recommend popping in if you have a spare 45 minutes. It won't cost you a penny either.
