Asher Twist
DVD

I got this a couple years back when Asher offered the trade for ghost kings. I didn’t buy ghost kings but got it in a package. Once I received Asher’s Original Version I was stunned. His, of course, is so much better.

Heck, Asher is just a great guy and a great magician.

The Asher Twist is a Great little effect, and the moves can be used for many other effects as well.

The Effect:
4 Cards are shown, I.E. the 4 Kings, all face up. Then the cards are closed, then opened, one card has turned over. This happens again and again till they all turn over. Then one by one they turn back up.

DVD:
The DVD is of course professionally made, and very easy to navigate.

Teaching:
The teaching is extremely clear and thorough. It shows the angles and the moves very well, and the explanations are easy to understand.

Overall:
I use this effect a lot at parties and bars. Many times just on its own for a quick bar trick. Other times I will use it as an opener and to lead into the rest of the routine.
It does take practice to get it to look smooth and to work on one other part.

I rarely recommend single effect DVDs, well this is one of them I do recommend.
Rating: 9 out of 10
