I'm looking forward to mastering this one as from the video it's very visual and I should imagine gets a great response. Sankey's stuff can be hit and miss, some great, such as In A Flash, and others, like Mercuring, very mundane.

Leaving Home is great, but after I spent the $20 on the trick package I realized I could have VERY easily made it myself. Fabulous trick though, definitely a bit of a knack required for the final phase though.

Is this similar to Gregory Wilsons - Florida Keys?
It sounds almost like the same routine.

Not at all... Maybe Greg based Florida Keys on Sankey's effect, but Sankey's uses a cord, not a key ring.

I have this now and have been practicing it for the last few weeks.
The great thing about it is that is can be examined before and after which is ideal as it's the sort of an effect where a spec will want to have a good gander at the props.
It's slightly tricky to get the knack of but as with most things, when it clicks, you've got it nailed and it's just a case of perfecting it after that.

Aside from the Key aspect, and the fact that linking takes place (which, keys and rings do!), there's absolutely nothing similar, to put your mind at rest ;)

Don't know much about Florida Keys? Can anyone enlighten me as to what the effect is?

A Three Phase effect with a Key and Keyring, in which the ket penetrates the ring multiple times, ending with a midair penetration. It can be found on Greg Wilson's On The Spot DVD.

Is that helpful enough?

This is indeed a great effect.

The idea is just so genius, and its very visual.

I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone :D

Yes, very powerful. Some of the moves take some practice but it is worth
putting the time and effort needed to learn it.
Not one for the quick self-working gimmick loving easy-magic crowd. You can imagine their faces when they see what they get and what they have to learn!

I got this a couple of days ago . I already had this on another one of his dvds, but I went for the package because
1)It was going to cost me £8 anyway to get duplicate keys cut for the routine
2) The dvd said stuff about bonus handlings

I was suprised when it got here, they keys are more like the size of padlock keys rather than house keys that I'd practiced with. The keys did look a bit naff though, being uncut. The 'bonus' on the dvd is literally one different opening and a couple of other hints on performance. It only runs at about 15 minutes.

Overall I'd give the package 7/10, not brilliant value for money
Difficulty 2 or 3 out of 5
