SKYWALKER By THE ENCHANTMENT

The Effect:
Obtain the ability to do what others have only dreamed of…

Of all the wonders in magic, nothing holds more impact and true astonishment than the ability to fly. It is for this reason the levitation is often considered the world’s greatest illusion.

The Enchantment, producer of such highly acclaimed effects as Archangel, Dreamweaver, and ABYSS, is finally releasing its most sought after and highly anticipated product to date.

Introducing The Ultimate Self-Levitation!

Never before has it been possible to perform such a pure flight under such practical conditions. This system encompasses a flight without sacrificing height, angles, or visual appeal. Original in mechanics, technique, and style, this innovative system is unlike any other.

This is a levitation you will perform – and perform often. Skywalker is a true, real world system, enabling the performer to levitate under conditions and environments that exist when performing for audiences in the real world. Created for the working pro, whose performing environments are the most unyielding. This levitation can be performed virtually anywhere. Enjoy the ability to perform in the same real world attire you normally wear day-in and day-out. Perform without any hesitations, without any apprehensions, without any suspicion. Skywalker is extremely straight-forward and direct from start to finish, before and after the illusion. This system provides instant flight that is instantly repeatable with instant reset. For the true performer, this has everything necessary for executing the purest illusion. If you are serious about performing for real people, Skywalker is the complete system for levitating in the real world.

Up to 400 lb. weight limit - Who the hell konws ,I only weight 92 lb so that means that you can throw 3 more of me on me plus a full grown Orangutan and I'd still be levitating :D that is awesome

Wide Angles - Yes that is true

No Hesitation or Apprehensions - Well that will depend on who's performing

Instantly Repeatable with Instant Reset - That is also true

The Ultimate Reputation Maker - Don't know about that

Availablity&Cost:
I bought from £15.99

Review:
This is my first review and will give many more in the future.I am going to review this product in different categories

1]The-Book:
Well the book is 28 pages long with colored pictures,it is well written covering all the important aspects.Reading the book a few times will help you understand much better how the effect works.

2]The-Illusion/Effect:
Well this is the coolest/most awe inspiring looking levitation I have seen ,which is under a £100 thats crazy ,and the way they teach you how to perfom the effect makes it even more amazing you can check-out the preview here:

http://www.theenchantment.com/files/skywalkervideotwo.wmv

3]The-Angles:
The angle ristrection is aswome,I would estimate it around 160*,well its more than 120* then The-FLY offers but I think that The-Fly must be more than 120* but i don't own that so i dont know.

4]The-Height:
This will depend on "You" but if you have seen the preview you can see that it's b/w 4-5 inches which is realllyyyy! good for a Self-Levitation.

5]The-Cost:
Well in my opinion it's so cheap that every one should by one each or even present it as gift. You must be thinking is "He" crazy :P ,but really it is cheap and I'd bet that you sepnd more money on every-day objects like a bottle of coke or something else. But when i said quote:"every one should by one each or even present it as gift" that was a joke,I really don't want every one to buy one because then every one will will start Levitating buy it if you mean it and are going to use it i konw I will.

6]Building-The-Gimmick:
Well frankly it's not that hard you might read in some other fourms that it's hard to build but it's not it will take you not more than an hour, even less if you have the material for the 'Build',and most probabbly you all will Unless you are in JAIL :( or locked inside the bathroom:shock: for that matter.Although I would recommend making the gimmick in the bathroom since that might be the only place quiet enough to work,I always strip my IT in the bathroom  it much easier not to break it and remove it easily.

Performance-Difficulty:
Well this will depend on the Magician who performs it for me it's not that hard but will need at least a weeks practise,I wouldnt recommend that just after you have made the gimmick,go out and start performing it's not that easy (I wish it were:cry:) but you will get the hang of it when you perfrom it in fornt of a mirror or someone you trust who won't tell anyone how it works. If you need help it activating the gimmick 'pm' me and I will let you know what I do,but I am sure if you read the book you will konw how to do that since it is mentioned very clearly.

Overall:
Finnal I reached the overall part of the review:D,so overall I do recommend this for a magician who likes levitation and for those who don't have any levitation cause they think it will not but I promise this work if you work on it.I alos recommend this because can instantly get ready to perform this with out any movement what so ever.So do buy it if you are going to use it and that you will

The Reactions you might get after performing this levitation:
:D They might Smile, :) They might give you a Fake Smiles cause they will be p****d-off on the fact that they can't do that , :o They might get Surprised seeing you perform a levitation while performing something else say a card trick. Their eye's might pop out , :? They might say "duuhh? but haaow!", They might start lauging carazy like, They mght vomit on you so be carefull, They might start crying, cause they might think that that was a moment b/w you and him/her, they might give you a twisted laugh,This means that they konw what effect you performed , They might say "now that, that was cool, They might get freaked out and say "Exit Stage Right" and start running.

Product Rating:
I would give it 10\10 but since they didn't include the gimmick i will give it 9\10 which still damn good.

Final word's:
I compared this to Elevator , King'sRising and Balducci
and it far more better.I would compare it but don't know if I should, I would like a moderator to 'PM' about this wether I can or not, And last but not least thank you for taking your time and reading this.

Probably because most performing magicians have no need for a thing like this. I really dont see a professional magicians using this at one of his/her gigs. I might be able to use it, but thats because of the types of shows I do. But I probably wont buy it, never been a big fan of levitations. Sort of passay (sp).

But hey, great review. 8)

You dont have to stop, thats just my opinion. Not every one feels that way.
Its just that there have been so many levitations; some real, some fake (scams), some good, some bad. I think that people are getting tired of them. Thats just a personal opinion.

You review was excellent, keep it up.

Noor thanks for the review. Believe me it will be read and appreciated by a great many people. I don't think David was criticising the review just the genre.

In contrast I actually feel that a leviation does have a place in magic and I often will do the balducci just because I know it gets great reactions. I may look into the one you reviewed. Certainly it is cheap enough just for a look.

Please don't stop writing reviews, but you have to realise that at weekends people don't tend to log on as much because they are either working or just because they have a life and don't spend all there time here. (Which I guess that means I don't have a life lol).

Have patience my young friend.

I have this effect too so i thought i'd post my opinions on it. Here goes...

Something that annoys me about this trick is that nowhere in the description of the trick does it state that you have to build this illusion yourself. Go to any dealer’s website, read the description and it gives the impression that you are buying the trick - not just a booklet explaining how to do the effect!

I admit that a lot of people will realize this, but still, I’m sure there are some that won't.

Right, that aside, onto the trick itself...

Cost:
To construct the gimmick will cost a varying amount of money depending on your taste and your usual dress style. So, i would estimate it will cost from around £35 to make a decent quality gimmick - up to a lot more depending on your taste. You will also need a tool and other supplies which you may or may not have. These tools are not too expensive though.

Time and ease of construction:
If you want to make a good job of it, I would say you need to spend at least a good few hours to find the materials required and to construct the gimmick. I rushed mine using old materials i already had, but it didn't work very well.
You will want to plan it carefully since if you mess it up, you'll have to spend another £20 at least for more material.

Quality of Instructions - Although the instructions do explain exactly what is required and how to put it together, i do think they should have been more detailed - especially considering that it is entirely possible that the first gimmick you make might not work properly (smoothly).

Good Points:
Once constructed, the illusion is self-contained and does not require any strange looking gestures to get ready to perform.
It has relatively good angles although nobody can be behind you.
The actual levitation moment looks exactly like you see in the online demo vids.

What I don't like :
It is awkward and uncomfortable to walk around normally whilst wearing the gimmick. You can walk but it is not natural. I personally do not believe you can walk around without looking a little strange. To prove my point, take a look at the demo on the Enchantment site (there are 2 videos) There is one video where you can see the performer walk for a brief moment. You'll see how his movement looks a little awkward.

Depending on how you construct the gimmick, it can be a little painful to perform, but since you levitate for just a few seconds, its not too bad. I would personally recommend you make "gimmick 3" (explained in the instructions) as comfortable as possible. This might sound like an obvious point but what i mean is, if you are intending to walk around a lot whilst wearing the gimmick, then i would seriously consider spending a lot of time on this part of the construction.

Final thoughts -
I like the thinking behind this effect. I think it can be practical but only in circumstances where you can have some privacy to take off the gimmick since as i mentioned; it is not at all comfortable to wear it all the time.
I also think the instructions need to go into more detail and to give more tips to reduce the chances of your messing up the gimmick the first time round. I also think they should make it clear in the adverts that you are buying booklet - not the illusion itself.

Should you buy it? Only you can decide for yourself - but if you do, be prepared to put in some effort...

HI Saugrenu,I have some remarks on your points

1]You mentioned that no website tell's you that it's a book well that is true but, when ever buying an effect you always have to do a little research before buying any product that be magic tricks, video games or anything for that matter.

2]Cost of the construction:
Well i live in Pakistan and well I have to say things cost alot less than they do in England.E.g a 2liter ckoe bottle will cost around £1.25 but in Pak it costs on £0.40 so you see the difference

3]Time spent on construction:
Well as i mentioned it toke me about an hour to build so that's that.I also mentioned"

I wouldnt recommend that just after you have made the gimmick,go out and start performing it's not that easy (I wish it were:cry:) but you will get the hang of it when you perfrom it in fornt of a mirror or someone you trust who won't tell anyone how it works

4]Preformance as I mentioned:

Well this will depend on the Magician who performs it for me it's not that hard but will need at least a weeks practise

When I say that it's not that hard for me,well that means that I can take the pain its not that painfull and no one is going to wear it the whole day anyways.

5]The Enchantment's instructions:
I dont know why you say that the did'nt make it thorough enough cause for me it was good enough

In the end I want to ask you one question do you think it is performable as compared to any other levitation you might have.Cause for me it's the only I can perform without anyone noticing anything.

Cheers and Kind regards:
Sangeen Noor

I see that many of the Older magicians (by older I mean experienced Magicians) want to keep them selves away form new levitations.

I have a question for The Older magicians :
What Levitation do you preffer besides the balducci?
