Numerical Fingerprint

Postby Paul Brook » Jul 14th, '07, 11:54

A serial number is as unique as a fingerprint. There are no number sequences or patterns hidden within these mixed letters and numbers; no hint or clue to what the next number or letter could be.

Even though this is true, Paul is still able to tell someone the serial number on their banknote under extremely fair conditions.

There are no stooges, confederates, no pre-show work, you have never met this person before, it is really their banknote and is genuine.

This is one of the effects that will be in my new manuscript "On Mephisto's Shoulder".

I hope you enjoy it :D

Is that the effect you told me about last Saturday? Very impressive to see it in action.

Hey Jon,

Yes it is :D

That guy wasn't too bad, normally you either get profuse swearing or stunned silence and then they swiftly run away, lol

As always, Paul; astounding. A reminder of what mentalism should look like.

I liked that. Its a lot better and stronger then the other serial number routines out there. It even tops the silver bullet lite one.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Apart from all the superb mentalism, you're also showing some of the nice parts of Birmingham!

For all those that want to be able to perform this effect, I have relased it within my latest manuscript 'On Mephisto's Shoulder'.

Keep in mind:

• No switches
• No stooges
• No glimpses
• No peeks
• No high tech equipment
• No low tech equipment
• No pre-show work with the person
• It is really their bank note
• The note is not touched by you or seen by you

That looks bloody fantastic Paul!

That effect would save me switching a person's dollar bill and having to remember a new serial if I want to perform the effect again later on

got OMS today. Love it.

Just had a glance through, havent tried anything yet, but this is clean.

You dont even see the note after they take it from their wallet...you dont get anybody to signal you - you can do it blindfolded, on your own and the spec if you wished.

It is so simple, it's brilliant.

To quote Tomo - "You clever, clever sod!"

You have left me speechless. I have no idea how that was done and it seems like true magic. I really want to get OMS now, just for that trick although I'm sure the others are just as amazing.
