Has anyone got deSouza's Deceptions Book? If so I'd love to hear what they have to say about it.

Thanks

Hey there!

I have the Desouza book, and it is very good. Lots of very usable stuff... although it is all reworked classics of magic, as opposed to brand new plots.

His variation of travellers is simply excellent - it's called I'd Give My Right Arm to be Ambidextrous. The handling is excellent, and it has an excellent kicker repeat finish.

Other highlights are the shapeshifter change (the colourchange used by Simon Lovell and David Blaine, amongst others), Snowflake (a kind of reverse torn and restored cigarette paper) and Miniature Bowling Ball from Briefcase.

Well worth checking out... anything else you want to know, just let me know.

Cheers,

Liam.

Deceptions

Montz

You forgot to mention "Die Of Destiny" its a real killer & the performer really does not have to a great deal of work to produce a small miracle.

I performed the above at a gig last saturday night & jaws were dropping left right & center!

The book really is worth buying just for this routine.

Cheers
