Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

The first cups and balls routine that I learnt was Daryl's one cup routine from his Fooler Doolers series. In it he stresses something that I think is very important and which will alleviate your concerns - namely - when palming a ball immediately pick up your wand or stick or whatever you are using. It is human nature to expect a hand to be doing one thing at a time not two, hence, if you are holding a wand, you're not holding anything else. I believe that Gazzo talks about this on his DVD as well.

My french drop and palming are both fairly agricultural but I don't get pulled on either because I follow the above rule.

Hope that helps,

James

You just need to practise it may seem hard at first but the more you do it the easier it will get (trust me) the reason for this is bacause the muscles in your palm will adapt to it quickly, it's kind of like the muscle pass i don't know anyone who's managed to do it first time but after a bit of practise you'll be able to do it.
As the old saying goes
"Practise, Practise then practise some more"
