Is this is unique

I am not sure where to post this one?
I was wondering if this is unique. Please keep in mind I am a qualified electrician and competent with electronics.

Here is the Routine.
After doing a few card tricks I go onto the next trick lets say P.K However just before I start a mobile phone rings. I get the pack of cards out of my pocket take them out of the pack split them and talk into them.

Oh It’s the mother in-law, err yes mother in law err no Mother in-law then pass the cards to a spectator who then gets an earful because I have not done the housework.

I have done it 3 times now and to be honest I have had mixed reactions mostly positive.
Just wondering if this has been done before .

Oh and do not try this at home you need extra components and a good chance of blowing chips in your circuit.

Yes, it has. Derren Brown's Pure Effect has got a basic description of an effect and method of doing it in there.

I was asking if it had been made before.

I don't remember a deck of cards telephone in PE but admittedly it has been some time since I read it.

Yup - "Magicall", part-way through the book.

It makes use of some pretty simple technology as well.
