Ever have one of those days...

When a couple of tricks you've been waiting for come together.

You open them up slowly enjoying the moment, you look at them, judge the quality, flick through the manual & then they both promptly break! b*ll*cks!!!

Happened to me today, bought the Noblezada Self Tying Shoelace, did something to the gimmick & the gimmick quickly gave up on life & hid away, unrepairable.

Also received Signature Trick (updated the review elsewhere) ran through the gimmick 2 - 3 times & promptly managed to break this (& I was being gentle as I could see the item was fragile)

I shall get replacements so not a problem, although I really don't wanna replacement for ST :( but just annoying that both effects should both break on the same day. Just thought I'd get my annoyance out into the open.

Anyway to cheer me up slightly I updated my subscription on magicscene
:)

I thank you for your time.

At least you didn't knife yourself in the stomach while opening the parcels.

Took me about 3 hours to wreck my Shuftons Ultimate Floating Match effect following delivery. Very chuffed off and I haven't got the patience to repair it unfortunately.

Quite a while ago I bought a rising deck, it wasn't cheap mind, from a reputable dealer and in Bicycle stock and it was buggered after about 2 days. Tried to fix it but to no avail the st***y has gone from the ad*****e s***p and the p*****y is not working as it should.

The short life-span off it has put me off buying another one.

bu**er.

Never mind eh :) Had a wonder through town & bought a lovely little metal flight case for £25, real compact thing, big enough to hold a few decks, a notepad & a few other bits & bobs & looks nice & smart, all for when one is strolling around performing, cos when the gig is hot I just can't cope with having a jacket on & I need some place to keep stuff.

Heard back from magicbox who offered me a refund or replacement, knew they would, with the exception of JB Magic :( I've never come across an unhelpful magic shop, so I shall return it & order something else, no doubt more expensive & defiantly more robust, but another new package to look forward to in a few days :D

And finally to end my magic stuff for today I resubscribed to magic scene via their web site & for some reason my robo form filled in all the wrong visa details! Ha.

Oh & TheAge, looking forward to your reviews, I love reviews, specially reviews with billions of posts so we can get a really good idea of how robust something is!!!

Don't be shy Lord Frederick, name names, no point in having an active forum if we can't shame the bad shops into upping their customer service.

I'll tell you by PM, but it'll just open another can of worms as before.
A magic shop that can't accept one of their customers gave one of their products a bad review, makes things up about them on forums, twist words, offers to help when you call and when you ring them they don't want to know. When you call them with a query about another products they refuse to talk to you!

If you sell bad quality products then you will get bad reviews, but this lot (well one person) took it all very personally as if I'd slandered his mother or something....

A sure fire way to lose a customer...

Naaaahhh! NUMS are good! :D

Sorry if I've got you all scratching yer heads, but PM me and I'll tell you.
I don't want to mention it again on a forum as rattles tend to get thrown out of badly made, unusable prams!
