Quick Change Books

Postby Lady of Mystery » Jun 18th, '07, 12:58

I'm on the hunt for a good book on quick change, I've found these

http://www.world-of-magic.co.uk/magic.asp?id=1065

just wondering if anyone knows anything about them, are they good? Which is the better one?

Thanks

I would definitely recommend the latter. I haven't read the first, but I've read the other one, and it is very thorough, concise, goes into great detail, and is a good buy. Well worth it.

All the best,

Hi,

I have the second one but have never got round to reading it. However, one salient point that you may not have noticed (I didn't!) is that it is for male costumes only. Thought that it might be important for you.

Hope that's of some use.

James

There was a couple of great costume change acts I have seen - one on the Royal Variety Performance last year, and one recently on America's Got Talent. (Yes, I watch this stuff)
It's something I have wanted to read up on and these two acts made it look rather slick and totally magical. I should imagine it's more convulted than it seems.
