Not bad, although I would liked to have seen more than a two card monte and an ambitious card "routine". Fair presentation though. I think presenting it a little more "magically" would help get better reactions from the spectators, but they all seemed kind of "stoned". As for my personal opinion I didn't like how you said, "I don't know how it happened, it just happened" when they asked how you did it.

P.S. Could you post an introduction telling us about yourself and your organization?

thanks man for the comments which are much appreciated and i do agree I don't know it just happened is kinda dull and vague so I am thinking up something better to say. Also I was wondering what you were trying to get at when you said they were stoned if you could elaborate on that a bit more that would be great.

Our organization or website is called shattered logic and we are a fairly new site but do not underestimate us we at shattered logic are striving to better the magic community and really focus on what magic is really about. To us its about bringing joy not getting the latest product on the market.

Also believe in a tight nit community so if you want to check it out you are welcome to.

By "stoned" I meant they seemed out of it. Like even if you would have done the best magic ever they still would've sat there straight-faced.

Don't get me wrong, some of the reactions were great, but some were just not. It's mostly the people though. Some people don't like magic. On the other hand, some are so impressed they can't react. Not putting you down, some people are just that way.

yeah i know what you mean I was just questioning which reaction you thought was that certain way well i do admit the guy i performed an acr to on the table he was wearing a black shirt did not seem like the best reaction but after we left he called his friend or someone right up and started telling them what i had done.

Hi
Im also new here so there is lots of more experienced magician around.

I enjoyed your ideas and technics globaly, the variation with the 2 jokers is really fun. The quality of video and sound was good and the music choice interesting.

But i also saw a big lack of storylines, wich is mainly why you couldnt explain what you did. You should not have to explain an effect after its done, it should be done while your doing the trick and at the precise moment when your spec realize what is going to happen, bang! Too late the magic happend.

-------
For example i present my Ambitious CR as an old trick someone showed me one day. He got me to pick a card ( FAn and make spec pick a card) a normal card, similar to every others card in the deck, it had a blue back like this one you have and all the others in my hand. But he asked me to sign it with this big black marker he gave me... It then become an unique card, in fact it was the only card in the world i ever had signed...

He lost the card in the middle of the deck somewhere, im not really sure where and told me he had a magic finger snap! That every time he would snap his finger he could control an unique object, anything even my card. As soon as he snapped his finger the card seemed to magicly raise on the top of the deck...

(Well im french so it differ a lot from my original story but i think its still good)
-------

You know where im going with this? Just like me last year, you have practiced and practiced and also practiced a lot but you didnt build a story line and a character yet. Both are very important to cause magic to happen.

You look like a promising magician and im looking forward to see more from you.

Hey nice video, I like the editing. thats somthing I've been playing around with on the side. So good work. I agree with phas3r. I'm a big fan of tricks that have a story involved so the plot of the trick is building to something that either happens the moment the person realizes, or the trick takes a random spin off of what they think will happen. But hey like you said magic is art. So do it how it works for you.
