That's one heck of a line up! And very reasonably priced too. I must admit I'm tempted, I just need an excuse for my lovely assistant.

"The good news is I'm taking you away for a weekend."
"Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise?" "You'll be able to go shopping?" "a lot of shopping?" "I'll buy you shoes?" "a lot of shoes?" "The people are very friendly?"

Thats fantastic, it's virtually on my doorstep!!
Just looked at the map and didnt realise it was in south shields, You can get some of the nicest fish and chips there.

Seems long enough to save up for.

So then Banafish, what did the boss say, was she peusaided by the shoes??

When I made the first posting I had you in mind as being the most likely to benefit! If nobody else gets there, can we commission you to visit and report back to the gang here? The most amazing thing as far as I can see is that this is a local Council inspired event - makes a change from Speed Cameras, Double Yellow Lines, and other fun Council activities.

Will do, probably 85% sure that ill be going, love to meet Banachek, he seeps a very intereting bloke. As for councils, yep north tyneside seem to have it right, Derwentside (my local councill) spend money on the most pointless things. 1.4 million on the regeneration of consett park and they forget to put bins in. They only rememberd about 2 month after the grand opening and by that time the place was covered in litter.

Anyway thats enough of me whinging about the councill, not worht talking about really

went, and have to say it was one of the best conventions I have ever atended. The balance of the acts did tend a tad too much towards the mind, however With the top quality of the acts, even that minor thing didn't matter.
Undoubted highlights were Banacheck, Greg Wilson, and Boris Wild, and the KISS act.
