Mercury, I think it's a bad effect to begin with, can't believe Ellusionist are actually selling this.

Your handling needs some work, so does your spelling.

Your ascanio spread needs a lot of work. And the changewas horrendous. You just turned the cards over.

Mercury isnt the greatest trick as it stands and handling liek that makes it highly unimpressive.

Try NFW or Richards Sanders TEN. They are so much more visual

Have you actually performed this in front of people, or just a camera ??

I think performing in front of Joe Public would help you.

Use a camcorder and watch it afterwards. Do not put the pack down and then realise you have put it the wrong way up and then turn it over.

If I made such a c*** (not the best) mistake I'd re-record, I wouldn't post it.

I agree with Mikey - for once.

Its a lousy effect. I would use something like NFW, and it wouldnt kill you to invest in a desk lamp.

...agree with above posts, i know how tempting this effect is (having bought it myself) along with the above comments, you need t be careful if you want to go for a spread finish, as when you flicked the spread, the last few cards will give the game away, ESPECIALLY if you post it on pootube, where annoying little kids will try and tare your video apart, trying to work a routine out...

I kinda agree...sorry to just be slating your vid, but IMO you shouldnt post on youtube unless you block the ability to add comments - solely because you will get some clever idiot saying 'oh, its a fake deck' or whatever and suddenyl the masses will agree with this magical guru and suddenly the whole trick is ruined - a bit of pratice though (ie watch the recordings until you are 100% happy with it) and it'll be a great effect to put in your routine

PS - have to agree with crozboz - if you did the same effect but in better light, it would look LOADS better
