Just got back from hols... but no Relic sitting on the doormat :-(

Have these shipped to the UK yet? Sorry if it's been discussed but I've been out of touch.

Thanks.

(nicely produced demo by the way!)

Keith - if you pre-ordered this, you should have received it about 3 weeks ago

Best drop Rick an email, to get some tracking info!

Nice editing there. However, I'm not entirely sure what the effect is :?

Ah... Thanks for that, I'll look into it.

It won't be the first time I've had things held up from the USA, a couple of months ago I ordered some pinball parts (another hobby of mine) and they still hadn't arrived two months after being sent out. The supplier sent a replacement set and then the following week BOTH sets arrived together in the same delivery <sigh>. I sent the duplicate set back of course.

Royal Mail... PAH... I bet the queen doesn't have to wait weeks for HER magic to arrive!

Can someone explain in more detail the relic effect?

I understand you hand the doubloon to someone, then draw the pattern for them w/o knowing what side is up. So there are really only two possible patterns right?

Well, it's a little more than that really; you have them hold the Relic in either hand - without you seeing which they're using.

They then hold out both closed hands, and you are able to tell them which contains the Relic.

As a kicker, you THEN go on to describe the patterns on the side of the Relic that's going to show when they open their fist

Ok... this makes more sense. You are not only telling them what side is up but what hand. Sounds more enticing now.

Virgin! Virgin! Virgin!

What me? A virgin?

Try telling that to some of the foxy chicks who owe me favours.

There are so many presentational ideas I have for the Relic.

The basic effect is very good, but I do like to combine it with other effects.

I think the strongest reactions I have had come from using two spectators and performing Ring of Truth using the Relic instead of a ring, and THEN going into the standard Relic presentation after determining which spec holds the Relic, to go on to discover which hand and then finally which side up it is placed

I have just watched the demo, absolutely fantastic! Not really a demo but a great intro to the 'Relic', I am really impressed, it was like watching a movie trailer  Has anyone got a demo of the relic they could share, I would like to see it in action before buying it.
