It took me a while to post an introduction because i didnt know where to start .

Im from a small town surrounded by beaches, ive start praticing magic tricks 12 years ago. At the time i was already juggling with balls and silks when someone asked me if i could entertain a whole day outside in front of his business.

So i said yes and went to a magic shop i knew and thats when i bought my first tricks. This day went wonderfull and after i start doing more and more magic everyday.

I found out that i had a big problem because i couldnt stand to be pressured to do magic. Wich mean i didnt enjoyed at all to be paid and therefor forced to do magic for someone...

After a while i realized that magic was becoming too expenssive for me, all the plastic gimmicks i had were looking terrible and everything made of wood as well as dvd or books were becoming to expenssive for me.

Ive stopped to show my magic for about 8 years. All these years i've only trained myself to the pass, DL some palms, switchs, shadow pass etc for my own persoannal pleasure of handling cards and coins without ever performing in front of peoples

Lately ive invested money for some new magic and once again im on my feet and doing magic for peoples to enjoy. Of course im not paid and im not asking money anyhow. Im just walking around the beaches and green parks looking for tourists to bug their mind.

I consider myself as a skilled hobyist because most of my sleight been perfected over years and i never allow myself to show a trick i have not perfectly mastered yet.

P.S.: Im french and ive learn to write and speak english by reading magic books and watching magic dvds... Sry for the possible grammar mistakes i may have made in my intro.

I really like the forum and i will do what i can to help and learn as much as possible.

I may have an opportunity to perform some paid gig soon, so i will be training a lot the next weeks and i will probably release some videos to get some more self-confidence and spot some of my weakness!

welcome fellow Canadian....what part of Quebec are you from? I have only been to Montreal and immediate area...

Im at 1hour and half North from Montreal, pretty close to Mont-Tremblant.

It did not work for the gig but i keep working hard, i bought torn and a pk ring lately and i start controlling warp1 very well. I havent figure yet what C.U.P.S mean but i believe its a contagious sickness i must have got on this forums! LMAO

Anyhow, im Cook in a small hotel. We have lots of show going around sometimes not so professional so im aiming to set a good half-hour or maybe 45 min of routines and gags! Then ill see with my boss if i could fit into his schedule once.

In the meantime i have found a good friend with a camera who is willing to film my performance. So when i have it all set up and tight togheter, ill invite some friends at home and will have em film it. Ive also started using my web cam for practice and it is very good for finding all the bad angles. The mirror still give me a very good general view of my eye tho but the webcam really bring new angles.

Im still very not confident in posting videos here, probably because its too public and also because i am not even amateur in video edition! But i should be abble to post some simple effects soon probably will give it a try for warp1 as it doesnt require speed and my webcam should be abble to catch every movements.

Well feel free to pick my brain on ideas, etc.....I may do the same in return!
