You wont learn magic effects here, if thats what you mean.

But welcome. I would recommend picking up some books:

Mark Wilsons Complete course
Royal Road to Card Magic
Bobos Modern Coin Magic
13 Steps to Mentalism

thanks for the tip. i have some experience with card tricks and i would like to develop my own to. anyway, thanks for the welcome.

David The Cryptic has hit the nail on the head - those books are great, Im working through RRTCM...its a bible for card tricks and routines :)
